This game is actually an advertisement for the BMW M3, but if all advertisements were as fun and well made as this, then watching ads would be a whole lot more rewarding. In this game you are of course driving a BMW M3, and the track at your disposal is the famous Nürburgring. You can make several adjustments to the car to suit your driving style, the stiffness of the springs and such, and everything affects the way the car handles on the track.
You control your car using either the keyboard, mouse or joystick if you have one. The game also supports, and recommends, a steering wheel with Force Feedback. This enables you to feel vibrations and forces on the steering as you drive, and you get a much better feel for the way the car handles. Although driving with the keyboard is fine, we recommend that you at least use a joystick, since this gives you much better control over the car. You also have the option to enable or disable driving aids like traction control, automatic gearbox and ABS, or to make your car vulnerable to damage.
You should be able to run the game on any reasonable modern PC, but if you plan to use high resolution with all effects turned on, you need a dedicated graphics card that is fairly new, although the game automatically adjusts the graphics settings to suit what computing power you have available.
The game is very simple. The only car available in the game is the BMW M3. You can adjust the color of the car, and choose from 18" or 19" wheels, but that is about it. And you only have 3 modes of driving to select from, Practice, Race and Time-Trial. But what gives this game potential, is the possibility to race your friends in a multiplayer race over LAN or Internet. Considering that the game is completely free, this game is surely to bring you and whatever friends or colleagues you can gather hours of racing fun.
