When it is finally time to upgrade your computer, you will sooner or later need to know exactly what kind of components you have already installed. What CPU you have, what kind of memory and so on. This program gives you all this information, so that you can go to the store and easily buy components that suits your current system. You can also save your setup as a HTML-file or text file, print it out and bring it to the store. The salesperson will then much easier be able to find the correct component for you.
CPU-Z comes in three versions, one that you install on your system, and two that is downloaded as a zip file, and there is no need for any installation. Here you have one version for 32bit Windows, and another version for 64bit Windows. Just unzip, and start the exe file that is in the zipped folder.
If you require the same type of information about your graphics card, try GPU-Z instead.
