Sometimes you might need to get information about what type of video card you have installed on a computer, for instance is it a AGP card or a PCI-E card, how much memory does it have and so on, and then GPU-Z will be just the right program for you. It gives you all the information you'll need about the video card you currently have installed. This can be helpful if you need to install a new driver, if you need to replace or upgrade your card. It can also see the cards temperature, the fan speed, the frequency it is running on and so on.
GPU-Z is downloaded as one single exe file, and there is no need for any installation. Just start the exe file, and that's all. The program only works in Windows 2000, XP or Vista.
If you require the same type of information about the rest of your system, try CPU-Z instead.
